I started this painting back in September 2025 of last year during a particularly stressful time. I was two weeks away from a major paper submission deadline, spending day and night working at home. To relax from the paper I started working on a painting, for the first time with size 100x70cm. I started to work with acrylics.
Even if it is stressful, I love making papers. I like the feeling of creating something new that can contribute to the scientific knowledge.
I didn’t know it at the time, but all the work I put in September 2025 and in the past months led to a paper rejection, but then I improved again my paper and it got accepted in February 2026.
I started to work seriously on this paper in February 2025, trying to submit on April 2025 but without success because I did not get good results to publish.
I put the complexity of making something , like a paper, into this painting. I tried to put all the colors to show how the universe has everything, and how much is beautiful. But as a poet said, “beauty is the beginning of terror”
